Seminars and Training Activities
Over the last few years I have delivered more than 60 invited seminars and training sessions on bibliometric methods, machine learning, and data science for social research. These lectures have been held in many Italian doctoral schools — including the Universities of Bergamo, Brescia, Calabria, Genoa, Milan Polytechnic, Naples, Pisa, Rome, Salento, and Turin — as well as at international institutions such as the Universities of Bodø (Norway), Edinburgh, Glasgow, Granada, London, Melbourne, and Paris, and the NOVA Information Management School in Lisbon.
I have also been a lecturer at the European Summer School for Scientometrics (ESSS), and I am the founder and Scientific Coordinator of the Summer School in Science Mapping (SSSM). Beyond academia, I have delivered methodological training for public institutions, including the Italian National School of Administration (SNA) and the Advanced Training School of the Court of Auditors.
